      Wearable technology and the federal government

      Last week, Facebook made a $2 billion acquisition. They purchased Oculus, the maker of a virtual-reality headset. Oculus got its start on the crowdfunding site Kickstarter. They don't even have a product on the market.

      Some analysts think Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg is a visionary. Others think he's nuts. Either way, wearable tech stands to have a huge impact on both public- and private-sector institutions.
