      NIST releases roadmap for trustworthy, resilient systems

      The way federal computer systems are engineered came under increased scrutiny this year -- after a series of disclosures by former NSA contractor Edward Snowden.

      The National Institute of Standards and Technology had already started studying the issue. After two years of research, they released a comprehensive report on the topic.
