The Secretary of Defense says that military officers and workplaces around the world will undergo scrutiny in an attempt to get rid of materials that degrade others or foster an "offensive work environment," Army Times says.

Officials will be looking for any printed or digital materials that are degrading toward women, Army Times reports.
The move comes shortly after a Pentagon study revealed that as many as 26,000 military members were sexually assaulted last year.
