The Queen Latifah Show: Behind the scenes

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (WJLA) - ABC7 hit the road and traveled to Los Angeles to talk with the new Queen of daytime. Queen Latifah tells{ }ABC7's Natasha Barrett that "The Queen Latifah Show" is actually her second chat program, but that her current one is more "her."

"There is a lot of pressure though," explained Latifah.

Will and Jada Pinkett Smith are executive producers. Will has already made a guest appearance. But there's one special dream guest that Latifah has in mind: Michelle Obama.

"I would talk to her about everything," said Latifah. "Normal sorta things."

Latifah also tells ABC7 that she's got plenty of family in the D.C. area. She has an aunt, an uncle and cousins who live in Fairfax and Falls Church.

Another piece of insider information: Queen Latifah talks a lot about "Big Sexy" during her show. It turns out that's the nickname for her set.
