It seems White House party crasher Michaele Salahi can now add groupie to her resume.
The woman who some say is addicted to fame is now on a journey with a member of a once-popular rock band.
Initially thought by her husband to be a victim of a kidnapping, it's now been determined that the 45-year-old reality TV star has fallen into the open arms of Journey guitarist Neal Schon.
The two met several years ago at a charity polo match in Virginia and are now apparently an item.
Michaele's estranged husband Tareq Salahi was initially worried that instead of running off with another man, his wife was in danger.
"Tareq is devastated but he is relieved to know that Michaele is safe," Salahi attorney David Silek told ABC's "Good Morning America. "That was his first concern."
Silek said it's premature to say if the couple would get a divorce.
"He's so devastated there's not a goal other than trying to figure out what is going on at this time," Silek said of Tareq. "If there's an opportunity for reconciliation, that's something they can and ought to explore."
Celebrity stylist and Real Housewives of D.C. cast member Paul Wharton says the blond beauty confided in him years ago that she wanted out of her marriage.
"I think that Michaele was looking for a way out and I think that Neal has offered her a great opportunity to jump ship and jump on a tour bus and hit the road," Wharton said. "It's the kind of life she wants."
