Thursday night's season finale of Scandal begins at 10 p.m.! After the show, make sure to stay around for ABC7 News at 11 for Cynne Simpson's latest behind-the-scenes look at the show.
If it were up to President Fitz Grant, he could have the presidency and the girl a the same time. But is that reality?
Judging by the way he blustered at the end of last week's episode of Scandal, he just might be able to have his cake and eat it too.
Going into Thursday night's season finale of Scandal, a great many storylines still remain wide open. Lost in the midst of Fitz's lust for Olivia Pope, the First Lady going public with her husband's adultery and Fitz's flip-flop on running for president again, of course, is the fact that the mole was finally revealed.
By the end of last Thursday's episode, we know that Billy Chambers, the man who once stood with Vice President Sally Langston, has been working with David Rosen all along. He also now has his hands on the elusive Cytron card that represents the smoking gun in the Defiance, Ohio debacle.
Meanwhile, at the same time that Fitz and Olivia are...reconciling...Mellie is dealing with her own fixer to deal with the aftermath of her stunning allegations. When she gets her hands on an advanced copy of Fitz's speech, though, she discovers that the president is ready to throw his presidency away - partially over Olivia and partially over his conscience about Defiance.
But all that gets thrown to the wind, though, when the president tosses away his planned remarks and goes full throttle toward his next campaign.
How does it all end? It'll all wrap up (perhaps?) Thursday night at 10 p.m. Afterwards, stick around for ABC7 News at 11 for Cynne Simpson's latest behind-the-scenes look at the ABC hit.
