Report: Stan Lee is accused of sexual harassment, says he's being extorted
WASHINGTON (Sinclair Broadcast Group) -- The Daily Mail is reporting Marvel creator Stan Lee has been accused of sexual harassment.
The 95-year-old reportedly is no longer a client of a nursing company due to a "string of complaints" that have been brought against him.
Many young nurses lodged complaints about him saying he asked for oral sex, groped them and walked around naked.
"Stan is an old man who has seemingly lost his way," a source told The Daily Mail. "He doesn't seem to care what people think of him, he's lost his filter. There has been a stream of young nurses coming to his house in West Hollywood and he has been sexually harassing them. He finds it funny."
Lee is the creator of famous comics such as Spider Man, X-Men and The Incredible Hulk. He is believed to have a fortune of at least $50 million.
Lee's lawyers believe the accusations are grounds for defamation and has sent a cease and desist letter to the nursing company.
"Mr. Lee will not be extorted or blackmailed, and will pay no money to anyone because he has done absolutely nothing wrong," attorney Tom Lallas said. "We are not aware of anyone filing a civil action, or reporting these issues to the police, which for any genuine claim would be more appropriate way for it to be handled."
