      MARGARITAVILLE: Pat Sajak tells an ESPN talk show of wild times in early days of his game show, per People, "The host of the long-running game show Wheel of Fortune says that back in the day, he and Vanna White occasionally had a drink - or six - while working on the show."

      ICY POLITICAL PUNDIT: Next up for Ice-T, "Meet the Press," per the AP, "The rapper and actor, who is making his directorial debut at the Sundance Film Festival with the documentary "Something From Nothing: The Art of Rap," says he expects President Barack Obama to be re-elected. After that, he predicts Hillary Clinton will be the next president."

      YEAH, BUDDY: A familiar face tops his familiar genre, per Rolling Stone, "Kenny Chesney is the top nominee at the 47th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards, with nine nods including Entertain of the Year, a category he has won four times since 2004."

      WIDE-RANGING INTERVIEW: Brad Pitt opens up to the Hollywood Reporter, hints at getting married. "During an afternoon together, Pitt was thoughtful, pensive and discussed everything from his politics (supports President Obama) and religion (he veers between agnosticism and atheism), to his relationship with parter of over six years, Angelina Jolie and their six kids."

      THIS HAS POTENTIAL: Just the facts, per Deadline, "EXCLUSIVE: Steven Spielberg is near to etching in stone with Warner Bros on that biopic portraying the Jewish leader as the warrior to beat all warriors. With a working title of Gods And Kings, what's envisioned is "a movie like a Braveheart-ish version of the Moses story," an insider tells us."

      NOT REALLY INTO BALLET: But maybe you are, so this one's for you, per the AP, "The dance world is spinning after one of ballet's brightest stars walked away from Britain's prestigious Royal Ballet without explanation, days before he was due to take the lead in a new production. Ukrainian dancer Sergei Polunin announced this week that he is quitting immediately."

      DEMI DETAILS: Her situations gets stranger and stranger, per TMZ, "Demi Moore's friend called paramedics Monday night after the actress inhaled a dangerous amount of nitrous oxide ... TMZ has learned. Sources tell TMZ ... one of Demi's friends who was at her home told emergency workers Demi was doing whip-its. A whip-it is a street name for a type of nitrous oxide inhalant."

      A GOLDEN JOKE: Inside baseball, per the Los Angeles Times, "The Hollywood Foreign Press Assn., owner of the Golden Globe Awards, was "considered somewhat a joke," before Dick Clark Productions partnered with the association on the television show, a former top executive at the company testified Wednesday."
