National Margarita Day is celebrated every year on Feb. 22. The popular drink dates back to the 1930s and today it's served on the rocks, frozen and in different flavors.

Casa Oaxaca's Agave Rita recipe:
2 oz Tequila Joven1 oz Cointreau1 oz fresh lime juice1/2 oz agave nectar1/2 oz cold waterKosher saltChili powderPour the ingredients into a glass with ice cubes.Shake well.Mix salt with chili powder. Salt the rim of a chilled margarita glass.Pour contents, with ice, into the glassGarnish with the lime wedge.
