      National Day of Unplugging

Are you addicted to your cell phone? A slave to Facebook? Is your computer always glowing? If so, it's time to take the Unplug Pledge.

March 1 marks the National Day of Unplugging - a day to shut off iPhones, BlackBerry's, Facebook, Twitter and all other forms of e-communication.{} It might sound like an environmental-green effort, but the idea is to unwind, unplug, relax, reflect, get outdoors, and connect with loved ones.

The National Day of Unplugging is a 24-hour period - running from sunset to sunset - and starts tonight. This project was created by members of the Reboot network.

Founded in 2002, Reboot engages and inspires young cultural creatives, innovators and thought-leaders who, through their candid and introspective conversations and creativity, generate projects that impact the world.

If you'd like to sign the Unplug Pledge, log onto NationalDayofUnplugging.com.
