Miranda Kerr models the $2.5 million diamond-studded bra

Daybreak Daily’s afternoon tryst with the pop-culture world finds a bra, a country gal, an ex-tweeter and much more, as well as the mystery music video.

OCCUPY THIS: Per People, “The Victoria’s Secret Fantasy Treasure Bra may cost a pretty penny, but Miranda Kerr made it look oh-so-pretty Wednesday night during the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in New York.

The model walked the runway wearing the $2.5 million diamond-studded bra — plus an elaborate shell costume — and drew effusive cheers from husband Orlando Bloom, who sat front-row during the show.

The hour-long presentation had a lot of million-dollar moments: after performing his hit “Stronger” and dedicating it to his “superangel,” late mom Donda, Kanye West was joined onstage by pal Jay-Z for a duet from their Watch the Throne album. (West was supposed to perform at the show in 2007, but canceled after his mother’s untimely death.) As the guys got down, a glowing Beyoncé was rushed to the front row, dancing along and mouthing the words while proudly watching her hubby.”

FRESH BLOOD: Per the Los Angeles Times, “Nashville’s Country Music Assn. has a well-deserved reputation for déjà vu, having doled out the same awards to the same performers year after year across much of its nearly half-century history. But this year the CMA apparently decided that it’s time to bring some new blood into its ranks, heaping multiple awards on relative newcomers Jason Aldean and the Band Perry, yet saving its top award for Taylor Swift, naming the 21-year-old singer and songwriter entertainer of the year.

Aldean, country music’s unrequited best man for several years -- he's had just one previous CMA nomination -- finally made it to the altar himself as his “My Kinda Party” was named album of the year Wednesday at the 45th CMA Awards.

It was a decisive vote of confidence for the Macon, Ga., singer, who got the nod over Swift and her blockbuster “Speak Now” album, which last fall became the first collection in 5½ years in any genre to sell more than 1 million copies during its first week of release.”

MEANWHILE: Per Us Weekly, “Less than a week after Saturday Night Live skewered the Kardashian family, the soon-to-be-exes were mocked yet again during Wednesday's CMA Awards in Nashville, Tenn.

"I think you forget to sing a song about what's weighing on everyone's mind in this room," presenter Eric Stonestreet said to co-hosts Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley. "The divorce of Kim Kardashian and what's his name.

Underwood, 28, and Paisley, 39, then joined the 40-year-old Modern Family star for a song that caused the audience to erupt in hysterics.”

DISS THESE FANS: Per Deadline, “Do not diss these fans. Given the sickly state of the North American box office, an event pic like this may be just what the doctor ordered for Hollywood’s lifeless box office. If you’re experiencing deja vu, that’s because this happens every time Summit Entertainment releases one of Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight Saga novels as a film.

Here are photos of 300+ 700+ Twi-hards waiting to be assigned their ”camping spot” at LA Live in front of the Nokia Theater in Downtown Los Angeles. All to glimpse the stars of Breaking Dawn Part 1 walk the Red Carpet at Monday’s premiere.”

UM, OK: Per the AP, “Michael Jackson's doctor, who refused to testify at his trial, said in an interview broadcast Thursday that the singer lied to him about his medical history and never revealed he had an addiction problem.

"I would hate to put blame on Michael as an individual," Dr. Conrad Murray told the "Today" show in the interview done days before the doctor's conviction.

"I only wish maybe in our dealings with each other he would have been more forthcoming and honest, to tell me these things about himself," he said.”

TWITTER MADE ME DO IT: Per TMZ, “Ashton Kutcher doesn't trust himself with his own thoughts ... claiming his ignorant Twitter defense of Joe Paterno has made him realize that he isn't qualified to speak to 8 million people.

Kutcher just posted a long-winded message on his blog -- explaining that he has decided to turn over control of his Twitter account to his management team -- which will now filter Ashton's stream of uninformed thoughts before they are unleashed on the masses.

Kutcher writes, "Up until today I have posted virtually everyone of my tweets on my own, but clearly the platform has become to big to be managed by a single individual."

He continued, "While I will continue to express myself through @Aplusk I'm going to turn the management of the feed over to my team at Katalyst Media to ensure the quality of it's content."

GET LARRY DAVID: Per Access Hollywood, “With producer Brett Ratner and host Eddie Murphy departed from the 2012 Academy Awards and Oscar-winning producer Brian Grazer in, the attention has now turned to the vacant host position.

Soon after Murphy stepped down from the hosting gig, a campaign on Twitter and Facebook sprung up lobbying for The Muppets – who have a movie opening on November 23 – to get the job. Currently, over 20,000 people on Facebook have “liked” their fan page.

On Wednesday, last year’s controversial Golden Globes host Ricky Gervais joked that he would be interested in hosting both the Globes again and also the Oscars.

“I’ll do it,” he told Access Hollywood, employing his trademark dry, British wit on Wednesday at the 5th Annual Stand Up For Heroes event in New York City, when asked about the Oscars no longer having a host. “I’ll do that as well. I’ll be in town any way for the Globes… [a] two for one offer. I can knock off 20 percent. Two for one deal.”

Also on Wednesday night, CMA Awards co-host Brad Paisley also joked about throwing his name into the host ring, saying at the end of the annual country music award show, “We’ll see you at the Oscars!”

DUTY CALLS: Per E!, “Kate Middleton will soon be flying solo again.

Prince William's bride will have to represent for the royal couple while her husband heads to the Falkland Islands for active work with the Royal Air Force, per the U.K.'s Ministry of Defence.”{ }
