June 25 marks another anniversary of the death of Michael Jackson, who died at the age of 50 in Los Angeles.
His official cause of death was attributed cardiac arrest caused by an overdose of propofol and benzodiazepine, which he used to help him sleep. He was preparing for a world tour at the time of his death.
A Gary, Ind. native, Jackson rose to fame at a very young age as the front man for the Jackson 5. His illustrious career included more than 700 awards and honors, including 13 Grammys, 26 American Music Awards and 88 Billboard music awards.
His 1982 album, Thriller, still ranks as the best-selling record of all time.
