Lindsay Lohan: Jail, 30 days, ordered to report by Nov. 9

Lindsay Lohan and lawyer await ruling.

Daybreak Daily’s afternoon rummage through the pop-culture bin sees that Lindsay Lohan is sentenced to jail, that Justin Bieber denies a paternity claim, other things and the mystery music video.

OUTTA CHANCES: Per the AP, “A judge sentenced Lindsay Lohan on Wednesday to 30 days in jail and warned the actress there would be plenty more time behind bars if she violated further court orders.

Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sautner imposed the complicated new sentence, telling Lohan she would have to serve more than 400 hours of community service at the county morgue, undergo counseling sessions and report to court frequently to avoid further jail time. In all, Sautner sentenced Lohan to 300 days in jail for violating a court order, but said the actress would only serve the additional 270 days if there was another violation.

In reality, however, the initial 30-day sentence will be significantly shortened by jail overcrowding, with Lohan likely serving only about six days. The actual length of the term will be set by the Sheriff's Department, which oversees county lockups. The actress has until Nov. 9 to report for her jail term.{ }

BEIBER’S BABY?: Per Us Weekly, “According to Star magazine, Mariah Yeater claims she had sex with Justin Bieber backstage at an L.A. show. The 20-year-old says three months ago she gave birth to the 17-year-old pop star's son. But Bieber and his team are setting the record straight on Yeater's shocking lawsuit.

"It's sad that someone would fabricate malicious, defamatory AND demonstrably false claims," Bieber's rep told Us Weekly in a statement Monday.

Bieber himself, who is promoting his newly released Christmas album Under the Mistletoe, addressed the controversy on Twitter: "So I'm going to ignore the rumors," he wrote. "And focus on what is real: an opportunity to help by doing what I love."

KIM GETS TESTY: Per Huffington Post, “The upside of being a reality star is that it's possible to monetize every move you make, no matter how mundane or common it may be, especially if you're a Kardashian. The downside is that it means that every move you make is also fodder for intense public speculation, especially if you're a Kardashian. That family has televised and cashed in on so many aspects of their lives that it's now hard to tell just what their aim -- and sincerity level -- is following the news that Kim is divorcing Kris Humphries, but as the symbols of a new evolution (devolution?) in entertainment, it's certainly worth speculating about.

Following a day of "insiders" insisting to various news outlets that Kim is indeed upset about her divorce, and that her marriage was in no way a shame, Kim took to her blog to explain herself and express authenticity. Having let that marinate overnight, she's just given her first interview about the split, again promising true heartbreak.

"I don't think I'm ready to go into, you know, the details of what went on in my marriage," she told the interviewer. "But I do want to make clear that I would never marry for a TV show, for money, for anything like that. I think that's really ridiculous that I have to even defend that... I guess, you know, that comes along with when you film your wedding for a reality show."

MEANWHILE: Per E!, “Kris Jenner has seen her latest press tour (for her clothing line and new book) morph into a defense of daughter Kim Kardashian's divorce from Kris Humphries. Yesterday, the reality-show matriarch shot down the speculation that the ex-duo's entire relationship was a made-for-TV sham. Today, Jenner is trying to rebut claims that the family made millions of dollars in profits from Kim's fairy-tale nuptials.

"You know, one of the rumors is we sold the television rights for millions of dollars? Not true," Jenner told Ann Curry while sitting down on the Today show this morning. "She profited from the wedding? Absolutely false."
As for reports the Kardashians pocketed $20 million in endorsement and TV deals for their E! special, Kim's Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event, Jenner insisted they received nothing close to that—instead, she claimed that Kim actually lost money on her decision to tie the knot.

THE DUCHESS WORE RED: Per Radar, “Kate Middleton rocked a red coat while on an official royal visit to Copenhagen on Wednesday and has the photos of her radiant new look. The Duchess of Cambridge wore a form fitting red LK Bennett coat with a red leather belt cinched at her waist showing off her incredibly slim figure while with her husband Prince William and the Crown Prince Frederik and Princess Mary of Denmark for their first joint humanitarian mission.”

AND FINALLY: Today’s mystery music video.
