Lindsay Lohan handcuffed and taken away after court appearance

Daybreak Daily’s afternoon stare-down at the pop-culture world finds, among other things, that it’s never wise to violate probation.

THE JUDGE ISN’T HAPPY: Per the AP, “Lindsay Lohan sported a new accessory after a judge revoked her probation: Handcuffs. The actress was escorted from a hearing Wednesday in handcuffs after Superior Court Judge Stephanie Sautner revoked Lohan's probation because she was ousted from a community service assignment at a women's shelter.

Bail has been set at $100,000.

"There has been violation after violation," Sautner said.

A city prosecutor said the actress should be jailed, but Sautner said Lohan was entitled to a probation violation hearing.{ }

MEANWHILE: Per Radar, “Just days after appearing on the red carpet with stained and rotting teeth it looks like Lindsay Lohan has had emergency dental work, an expert tells Lindsay was out shopping in Los Angeles at the weekend, showing off her pearly whites, a far cry from the dirty brown teeth she flashed last Wednesday night.”

FUNNY: Per the Los Angeles Times, “On Tuesday night's episode of 'The Daily Show," Jon Stewart took aim at Republicans who claim that the growing 'Occupy' movement is a divisive phenomenon that pits Americans against other Americans.

Stewart kicked off the segment with a montage of conservatives rallying their base with bellicose rhetoric: "Take our country back!", "Get your musket!" and so on. He followed it with a series of clips in which some of the very same Republicans expressed their dismay over the Occupy Wall Street protests.

Most notable was House Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.), who expressed his increasing concern over the "growing mobs occupying Wall Street" and characterized the protests as class warfare. "Believe it or not, some in this town have condoned the pitting of Americans against Americans," he said.{ }Stewart seized upon Cantor's apparent inconsistency. "If Republicans don't condone pitting Americans against Americans, then who is it that we Americans should be taking this country back from?" he wondered.{ }{ }

HYDE: Per People, “Danny Masterson and his girlfriend of eight years, Bijou Phillips, tied the knot Tuesday before an intimate group of family and friends in the Irish countryside, their rep confirms exclusively to PEOPLE.

In a nod to Masterson's Irish heritage, the couple had a formal wedding at a private castle, the picturesque setting of Tipperary serving as their backdrop, during a weeklong celebration.”

ALEC BALDWIN OCCUPIES OCCUPY: Per the Huffington Post, “A longtime political commentator and potential candidate himself, Alec Baldwin paid a visit to Occupy Wall Street on Tuesday night.

The "30 Rock" star and newly minted podcaster, Baldwin has, during the protesters' occupation of Wall Street, advocated for tighter bank regulations and more strict enforcement of those regulations. Arriving around midnight, he tweeted at 1:37, "My thanks 2 Aaron from Brooklyn and Sean from Winnipeg for this evening's OWS tutorial. My first. A lot of dedicated people at #ZuccottiPark."

BUM RAP: Per E!, “After getting out of the brig, Soulja Boy wants the world to know he's the not the bad guy authorities say he is. The rapper otherwise known as DeAndre Cortez Way vehemently proclaimed his innocence on drug and weapons charges in Temple, Ga., shortly after after posting a $10,000 bond and being released from jail Tuesday—by the way, the same day Soulja Boy—The Movie went straight to DVD.”

DWTS: Per Celebuzz!, with photo gallery, “Despite bidding farewell to Carson Kressley and Anna Trebunskaya on Tuesday’s elimination episode, the Dancing With The Stars cast was all smiles and in good spirits at a post-show party.

AND FINALLY: Today’s mystery music video.
