(WJLA) - Everything really is awesome in “Lego Movie” land. This weekend, it made another $32 million, which puts it close to $200 million in just three weeks. And naturally, a sequel is already in the works, as producers plan Lego 2 for Memorial Day Weekend of 2017 – one of the biggest opening dates of the summer.
If it’s winter, it’s Liam Neeson fighting bad guys and saving the world. This week, he opens in “Non-Stop” as an air marshal trying to stop a terrorist on a transatlantic flight.
The Oscar race closes Sunday night, and Best Picture looks too close to call. It’s a tie between “Gravity” and “12 Years a Slave.”
