Budget cuts due to sequestration reportedly have claimed another victim - classes at the Naval Academy in Annapolis.

According to U.S. News and World Report, the U.S. Naval Academy is being forced to cancel several classes this fall due to the massive cuts that went into effect earlier this year.

U.S. News says that civilian teachers at the school are being impacted by the Department of Defense's mandate of 11 furlough days. Military employees will not pick up the slack during the furloughs, which will be treated like snow days.

Classes at the United States Military Academy at West Point and the Air Force Academy in Colorado will not be impacted.
