Power has been restored on the campus of George Mason University, officials say, after a Thursday morning outage canceled classes and events.

Normal operations, classes and events will resume at noon, officials said in a message on the university's website.

Activities at the school's satellite campuses in Arlington, Loudoun County and Prince William County were not affected by the outage.
