LANDOVER, Md. (WJLA) - An ongoing fight between two rival groups of women led to the stabbing death of a 30-year-old woman outside a Landover home early Tuesday morning, sources say.
Stephanie Littlejohn was found dead at about 2:45 a.m. Tuesday outside a home on Kent Village Place in Landover, Prince George's County Police say. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Sources say that before the stabbing, Littlejohn and two other women went to the neighborhood and confronted another woman. Witnesses say that an altercation started, during which Littlejohn was stabbed.
"She was standing out here minding her business and they jumped out of (a) car and came toward her," a witness, who declined to be identified, said. "(They) fought her, maced her...pulled out a knife and they struggled with the knife."
Littlejohn no longer lived in the neighborhood where the she was stabbed, but a former neighbor remembered her fondly.
"I was hurt when I heard she got killed...right now, I still can't believe it," the neighbor said.
