Va. man arrested for allegedly trying to rob victim on bike trail, grabbing woman's butt

A man was arrested for allegedly attempting to rob a person on a bike trail, and grabbing a woman's butt inside of an apartment building in separate incidents on Aug. 14 in Alexandria, Virginia.

Joshua Sprinkle, 18, was charged with attempted robbery and abduction for the first crime, and sexual battery for the second, according to police.

Sprinkle grabbed an individual from behind and demanded money on a bike trail near Holmes Run Parkway.

Police say a short time later, Sprinkle grabbed a woman's butt as she walked up the stairs in an apartment building in the 500 block of N. Jordan.
