A twice-convicted sex offender with previous convictions in Montgomery County pleaded guilty Thursday to sexually exploiting minors to produce child pornography in Baltimore.

Terrance Robinson, 39, admits that for three years, he produced images and videos of two minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct while alone with them.

Robinson also admits he shared the photos and videos on the internet.

Two years ago, police searched Robinson's home and seized his computer and digital camera. That's when they found over 600 photos and at least four videos. Investigation revealed Robinson would often search the internet for files, websites and discussions related to child pornography.

Robinson has a string of sex offense and child abuse charges in Montgomery County from the nineties, according to online records.

As part of his plea agreement, Robinson must register as a sex offender. He faces a minimum sentence of 35 years in prison and a maximum of life behind bars for each of eight counts, followed by up to a lifetime of supervised release.

Sentencing has been scheduled for March 25.
