Teen charged with allegedly breaking into Va. home, inappropriately touching girl

A 15-year-old boy has been charged for allegedly breaking into a home and inappropriately touching a girl on Sept. 8 in Sterling, Virginia.

The teen was charged with felony burglary, misdemeanor sexual assault, and misdemeanor simple assault, according to the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office.

Authorities are not releasing the teen's name because he's a minor, and add he's being held at the Loudoun County Juvenile Detention Center.

The teen opened a window to a home in the 1300 block of E. Lee Road. According to the LCSO, he leaned through the window, touched the girl inappropriately, and threw items at her before leaving.

Investigators say the girl was not injured.
