The Montgomery County teenager who supplied a gun to the man who shot two people at the Rockville Metro station last May will be sentenced Friday.

Tavares Harris was found guilty last December on assault and gun charges in connection to the May 18, 2012 shooting. Two people, including 16-year-old Jared Cannon and a bystander, were injured.

Jurors ended up being deadlocked on more serious charges facing Harris.

The man who pulled the trigger, Kevin Nguyen, pleaded guilty to attempted second-degree murder charges last December. He was later sentenced to 25 years in prison.
