Business is back to normal - in a way - on Tuesday at a Frederick clothing store the day after a woman was robbed in the middle of a Burlington Coat Factory in broad daylight.

Frederick Police are on the hunt for the man and woman who allegedly robbed a female customer at knifepoint while she shopped at the Patrick Street store. Police released still frames from surveillance video on Tuesday of the suspects.

The robbery has Frederick residents on edge, including ones who were on their way into the store to shop.

"That's pretty bold and desperate," Frederick resident Natalie Young said. "It might be the economy...people are getting a little bit bolder."

Authorities say the robbery occurred at about 11:45 a.m. Monday inside the store at 1025 West Patrick Street. They say that as shoppers milled about around them, the two suspects walked up to the victim, pulled out a knife and got away with her purse.

The suspects then calmly walked out of the store.

"This is a first," store customer Angela Edelen said. "I've heard of robberies, but not inside a store."

Police describe the male suspect as being in his 20's or early 30's of medium height with blonde hair. The female suspect, police say, is in her teens with dark hair that falls below her waist. Authorities are concerned that they might try to strike again.

Anyone with information is asked to call Frederick Police detectives at (301) 600-6219 or (301) 600-2100.
