WOODBRIDGE, Va. (WJLA) - There’s an urgent search for answers one week after the shooting death of Platanillos Grocery cashier, Glenda Marisol Coco-Romero.
"She was nice, very nice. It was sad," says customer Fitama Linares of the 21-year-old mother of one.
Detectives passed out fliers on Friday, hoping for new information in the case.
"Any leads, any suspicious activity, any chatter they're hearing from friends, neighbors, on the street," explains Sgt. Kim Chinn of the Prince William County Police Department.
A bullet hole and store surveillance video are vital clues from a terrible crime, and Romero’s family is devastated.
"To lose a loved one, it's very hurtful."
