Police: Man allegedly steals shotgun from mall

(WJLA) - Police are searching for a suspect who allegedly stole a shotgun from a store at the Arundel Mills Mall early Saturday.

Anne Arundel County police responded to an alarm at the Outdoor World Bass Pro Shop just before 2 a.m. and found an exit door was unlocked, but did not notice if anything was taken.

A few hours later, the manager of the store called police after checking surveillance and saw a man leaving the store with a shotgun. The manager then noticed the Baretta shotgun was missing.

Police aren't sure how the suspect got into the store.

The suspect is described as a man in his late teens to early 20s with a light complexion and long sideburns. He was seen wearing a black hooded jacket, dark-colored cargo pants, grey or blue tennis shoes and a black brimmed hat. He was also carrying a backpack.

Anyone with information should call police.
