Police: 3 killed, 2 injured after several overnight shootings throughout DC
D.C. police say three unconnected shootings took place throughout D.C. overnight Wednesday.
In Northwest, two men were shot to death around midnight and another injured in the 6200 block of 8th Street.
Twenty-five-year-old Renard Marsh was identified as a victim in the shooting. On Thursday, 22-year-old Sefjuan Jones was identified as the other victim.
The area where the shooting took place was shut down through the morning rush hour as detectives investigated the shooting.
Police say they didn't immediately have a suspect or a motive for the shooting.
Furthermore, around the same time, police say a man was also shot to death in Northeast . Police say he was found in a pickup truck on Hunter Place. That area was also shut down to traffic.
In Southeast, another man was shot around 1:41 a.m., but police say that victim was conscious and breathing.
