Montgomery County Police detectives are hoping surveillance photos will help them find two people who are putting skimming devices on ATMs. Police released photos of the suspects on Tuesday.
The skimming devices were placed on ATMs at one bank in Bethesda and another in Chevy Chase in August. Police say the devices recorded the victims’ account numbers, and those stolen account numbers were later used in other transactions.
Anyone with information about the suspects can call the Financial Crimes Section at 240-773-6330. Those who want to leave an anonymous tip can call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County at 1-866-411-TIPS.
