(WJLA) - Three men have been arrested in a drug-related shooting in Prince George's County.

Police were called Wednesday evening to the 6300 block of 64th Avenue for a report of a shooting. Michael Crawford, 21, was found inside a vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators say Crawford and another man, Tracell Greene, 22, sought out Reginald Brown, 34, with the intention of robbing him of money and drugs.

Crawford and Greene met with Brown in a car outside of Brown's home. When Brown got into the car, Crawford pulled out a gun and demanded drugs, according to police. After a brief struggle, Brown was able to escape. He allegedly fired shots at the car several times as Crawford and Greene drove off, police say.

Crawford and Greene were arrested that night; Brown was taken into custody on Friday. During a search of his home, police recovered a handgun, shotgun and rifle, along with trace amounts of suspected marijuana.

Crawford and Greene both face charges related to the attempted armed robbery. Brown faces charges related to the shooting.

Crawford remains hospitalized.
