Md. father arrested after infant suffered broken ribs, spinal trama

      Investigators arrested a Lexington Park, Md. man after his 2-month-old daughter suffered serious injuries while in his care, St. Mary's County sheriff's deputies said.

      Reynold O'Brien Gibbs, 27, is charged with first-degree child abuse: severe physical injury, second-degree child abuse, first-degree assault and second-degree assault, St Mary's County sheriff's investigators said.

      Police said the suspect brought his daughter to the hospital after{} discovering the infant's leg was hanging limp.
