Man arrested for allegedly supplying gun used in shooting of 3-year-old Landover girl
LANDOVER, Md. (AP/WJLA) - Prince George's County Police have arrested a man they say aided a gunman who shot and killed a 3-year-old Landover girl.
Brian Ray Campbell, 24, of Landover, was being held without bond on charges of first-degree murder, second-degree murder, manslaughter, accessory before the fact, and accessory after the fact.
Police told ABC 7 News that Campbell supplied the alleged shooter, 25-year-old Davon Antwan Wallace of Landover, with his gun and drove him away from the shooting scene.
Police are still searching for Wallace, who has a murder warrant out for his arrest. Authorities asked the public for help in finding him, and are offering a reward of up to $25,000.
The shooting happened Sunday on Forest Terrace in Landover, where police were called to a home there and found the wounded girl, identified as Knijah Amore Bibb. She was rushed to the hospital, where she died a short time later.
Police said Wallace knew a person who lives at the girl's home. They said he was involved in an altercation at the residence and returned to the home, firing shots into the home from outside. Investigators do not believe the girl was targeted.
