Kevin Battaglia accused of waving gun at bouncers, assaulting officers

(WJLA) - A Louisiana man is accused of waving a gun at restaurant bouncers and then assaulting two police officers.

Police were called Sunday night to Brittney's Restaurant in Woodbridge for reports of an intoxicated man brandishing a gun at bouncers. When they arrived on scene, officers found Kevin Anthony Battaglia, 29, walking through the parking lot.

Battaglia allegedly ran from officers, but was quickly caught and arrested. During the arrest, he allegedly struck two of the officers. A gun was found in the bushes nearby.

Battaglia faces several charges and is being held without bond.
