Hate crime caught on camera in DC, police searching for suspect who pepper-sprayed victim
WASHINGTON (ABC7) —
Police are searching for a suspect who assaulted a person at an LGBT organization in Northwest Washington Tuesday.
In surveillance footage released by the Metropolitan Police Department, the suspect is seen walking into an establishment in the 2800 block of Georgia Avenue, NW, at around 1:45 p.m.
Police say the suspect "deployed a self-defense spray" and then struck the victim before fleeing the scene on foot.

Police transported the victim to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
