Police in Fairfax County say at least 64 cars parked in the Dulles Greene Apartment Complex had their tires slashed Saturday night.

The cars were parked on Astoria Circle and one car was parked on Rock Hill Road outside the Herndon complex.

"It's my baby," said Khek Chounramany, of the victims of the tire slashing.

He said he bought his Mercedes for $120,000 seven years ago. Early Sunday morning, all four tires were slashed.

“I don’t know why they do that, I have no idea," Chounramany continued.

Victim Danniellie Jacobs was woken up by a neighbor who told her the bad news.

“She was like someone went through the complex slashing tires last
night. Came downstairs, sure enough, my tire was slashed," Jacobs recalled.

Fairfax police say they have little to go on, but there is some surveillance footage. The video shows three men walking into the complex that night, just after midnight.

Investigators said the three stayed about an hour and may or may not have committed the crime.

Jacobs added, "...with me being a mom - being pregnant with another one on the way - it’s definitely not something I want to deal with.”

But as the holiday season begins, more than 60 residents will have to deal with an expense they didn't plan on having.

In Chounramany’s case, $2,600, a $1,000 of which won't be covered by insurance.

“That’s my Christmas gift, I guess,” he said.

Anyone with information should call police. A $100 to $1,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to an arrest.
