D.C. man arrested for allegedly soliciting sex with girl he communicated with on Facebook
ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, Md. (ABC7) —
A man was arrested for allegedly soliciting sex with a young girl in Anne Arundel County, Maryland he started communicating with on Facebook.
Leon Richard Harrison of Washington, D.C. is charged with sexual solicitation of a minor, prostitution, according to Anne Arundel County Police.
The victim's mother contacted authorities when she discovered the two were communicating on social media.
A detective went undercover as a young girl and Harrison began interacting with the officer believing it was a girl. Authorities say Harrison solicited "sexual acts" in exchange for money.
According to police, Harrison arranged to meet the detective, posing as the girl, at a fast food restaurant and was arrested in the 1100 block of Annapolis Road in Odenton, Maryland.
