D.C. woman sexually assaulted at gunpoint in her home

      WASHINGTON, D.C. (WJLA) - D.C. police detectives are searching for a man who sexually assaulted a woman at gunpoint in her home in the middle of the night over the weekend.

      The incident took place in the 1500 block of Isherwood Street NE between 1 and 1:30 a.m. early Sunday.

      Police said the victim was home alone when the suspect entered and sexually assaulted her.

      The suspect is described as a tall black male with a medium to heavy build, dark complexion, short hair and a tattoo on his neck, approximately in his 40s. He was reportedly wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans and was armed with a handgun.
