Cocaine smuggled through Dulles in shampoo bottles, authorities say
Authorities at Dulles International Airport arrested an alleged drug mule and confiscated almost two pounds of cocaine that was hidden inside shampoo bottles.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers arrested Eric Eduardo Estacuy Juarez, 39, on June 28. He was charged with importing a controlled substance into the country.
Estacuy Juarez arrived to Dulles from a flight from Guatemala via Panama. Authorities say he smuggled the cocaine into the country in three shampoo bottles that had double walls inside.
The cocaine is believed to have a street value of $60,000.
