BMW passenger shoots through windshield of 'party bus' on B-W Parkway

A passenger in a black BMW shot a window of a “party bus” early Sunday morning after both vehicles stopped on the median of the Baltimore-Washington Parkway.

U.S. Park Police are investigating the shooting and calling it a possible a road-rage incident, Sgt. David Schlosser says.

On Sunday morning at about 3:30 am, a "party bus" with as many as 50 passengers was on eastbound New York Avenue taking the ramp to northbound Baltimore-Washington Parkway.

Schlosser says there may have been some interactions between occupants of the two vehicles. The bus stopped on the median strip and a black, four-door, older model BMW stopped in front of the bus.

A passenger from the BMW leaned out of the window and fired a gun at the windshield of the bus.

The round went through the glass but did not strike anyone in the bus.

The BMW has DC tags and was driven by a black male. The shooter may have been a light-complexioned black male wearing a white t-shirt, Schlosser says.
