3 wanted for allegedly stealing ATM from a 7-Eleven and an attempted robbery in D.C.

Police are searching for three people who allegedly stole an ATM machine from a 7-Eleven store on Jan. 19, and were involved in an attempted robbery at a business on Feb. 20 in Washington, D.C.

In a surveillance video released by police, one of the robbers drove a 2002 blue Ford pickup truck into a 7-Eleven store window in Northwest Washington.

The other two robbers ran inside to grab the ATM and loaded it onto the back of the vehicle.

According to investigators, the truck and a portion of the ATM were retrieved on Piney Branch and Dahlia Road in Northwest Washington.

Police say the robbery occurred in the 200 block of Cedar Street, NW.

In a separate incident on Feb. 20, the robbers rammed a red pickup truck into a business and attempted to steal another ATM machine in the 3600 block of 12th Street in Northeast Washington.

Police say the group left the area after the incident without obtaining any property.
