3 arrested in connection to 5 armed robberies in Prince William County, police say

Two men and a teen have been arrested in connection to five robberies between October 2017 and December 2017 in Prince William County, Virginia.

Charles Leonard Gaskins, 18, was charged with six counts of robbery, six counts of conspiracy to commit a robbery, and six counts of use of a firearm in commission of a felony.

Aariq Michael Nedd, 18, has been charged with five counts of robbery, four counts of conspiracy to commit a robbery, and three counts of use of a firearm in commission of a felony, according to Prince William County Police.

Police say a 17-year-old male was also charged with six counts of robbery, six counts of conspiracy to commit a robbery, and six counts of use of a firearm in commission of a felony.

According to police, on Dec. 4, a 15-year-old male was robbed at gunpoint while at a bus stop at 14700 Potomac Mills Road. The victim's cellphone was taken before the robbers took off. Police later arrested Gaskins, Nedd, and the teen.

In another incident, a 20-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman were robbed at gunpoint by Gaskins, Nedd, and the teen on Nov. 21 in the 15800 block of Bobolink Drive in Woodbridge, Virginia. Police say the trio stole a cell phone and purse, and there were no injuries during the robbery.

Prince William County Police say on Nov. 16 an 18-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman were robbed at gunpoint by Gaskins and Nedd while they were sitting in a parked car in the area of Bobolink Drive and Rippon Boulevard in Woodbridge. The victims had their cell phones and money stolen, and investigators say there were no injuries in the incident.

On Nov. 14, Gaskins and Nedd robbed a 7-Eleven located on 10420 Portsmouth Road in Manassas, Virginia. Police say one of the men pulled out a gun and forced a store employee to open the cash register. The pair also stole cigarettes before leaving the store. There were no injuries during the robbery, according to police.

According to investigators, two 19-year-old men were robbed by Gaskins, Nedd, and the teen on Oct. 31 in the 15300 block of Blacksmith Terrace in Woodbridge. One of the robbers pulled out a gun and demanded property from the men. Police say the victims cell phones and a backpack were stolen, and there were no reports of injuries.
