(WJLA) - Yahoo! CEO Marissa Mayer has apologized for the ongoing outage affecting hundreds of thousands of the company's e-mail service.
The Washington Post reports that about 1 million of its Yahoo! Mail users have not been able to access their accounts for several days, and Mayer says that the company is sorry.
"This has been a very frustrating week for our users," Mayer said in a blog post.
The complex problem was caused by a hardware issue, the Post reports.
