(WJLA) - About 4.6 million Snapchat users had their user names and phone numbers leaked by hackers, The Verge reports.
The site behind the leak, SnapchatDB, posted the massive database with the names and partial phone numbers of millions of users.

"Our motivation behind the release was to raise the public awareness around the issue, and also put public pressure on Snapchat to get this exploit fixed," a person affiliated with SnapchatDB told The Verge.
