Joanna Montgomery, a recent college graduate from Scotland, designed an innovative product called Pillow Talk. It involves a ring that wirelessly transmits your heartbeat to your partner through a pillow insert. This would allow for more intimate interaction for long-distance couples.
"I realized that technology has become very literal, everything involves a screen. You can Facebook someone, or text them, or email them, but it's quite two dimensional and there isn't any real richness or depth behind it." Joanna says to Yahoo News.
Originally Pillow Talk was for a final college project but she is putting the finishing touches before its market release this summer.
It is already gaining popularity on YouTube by having over 200,000 hits.
