      New twist in the battle for wireless spectrum

      This summer, U.S. wireless carrier Sprint-Nextel was expected to close on a $20 billion merger with Softbank -- a Japanese telecom company. Now Sprint has a new suitor. The $25.5 billion Dish Network offer could set off a bidding war and dramatically reshape the U.S. wireless industry.
