(WJLA) - Millions of pounds of chicken wings are looking for a good home.
According to the Wall Street Journal, about 10 million pounds of McDonald's "Mighty Wings" are sitting in frozen storage because the restaurant chain couldn't sell them.
McDonald's reportedly bought 50 million pounds of chicken wings as part of their limited run, but about 20 percent of the wings have not yet been distributed to restaurants nationwide.
Company officials say that they may have erred in the pricing of the wings, which have sold slowly.
