Here's a story that will likely get your blood boiling. A Michigan woman who won $1 million in the state lottery was caught still using food stamps.
Even more, the winner, Amanda Clayton, said she needs the $200-a-month public assistance because she had bills to pay, according to WDIV, a Detroit TV station.
"I thought that they would cut me off, but since they didn't, I thought maybe if was okay because I'm not working," Clayton told the TV station when confronted, adding that she has two houses.
She claims she only received about $500,000 after taxes and taking a single lump-sum lottery payout.
