Noor Tagouri on being the first Muslim-American to wear a hijab in "Playboy"
WASHINGTON (ABC7) — 22-year old Muslim-American Journalist, Noor Tagouri, sparked controversy by being the first Muslim woman to wear a hijab in "Playboy" magazine. She joined Jummy Olabanji to talk about being the first woman wearing a hijab to be featured in "Playboy" magazine. "Playboy" featured seven men and woman who have risk it all to do what they love in there October 2016 edition titled "The Renegades Issue." Tagouri shared her reservations about being in the magazine, why she choose to do it, and her goal of becoming the first hijabi anchor on commercial U.S. television.
