Honey Trap - Bruschetta with Ricotta, Lemon, Basil & Honey

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf baguette bread, sliced and toasted
  • 1 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 cup fresh ricotta cheese
  • 1 lemon, zest
  • 2 Tbsp. basil leaves
  • Honey, for drizzling

Directions

  • Preheat oven to broil; lightly toast one side of the baguette toasts for about a minute. Turnover, drizzle with olive oil. Toast again until lightly brown.
  • Mix fresh ricotta with lemon zest, and spread onto toasts.
  • Add a few basil leaves; drizzle with honey. Serve!

Let’s Get Dirty - Red Rose Dirty Rice

Ingredients

  • 1 pound turkey sausage
  • ½ cup of truffle oil
  • 1 cup chopped basil
  • 1 cup of Asparagus (roast before adding to dish)
  • 1 cup of roasted corn (roast before adding to dish)
  • 1 cup of chopped garlic
  • 1 cup of chopped fresh roses
  • 4 cups hot cooked rice
  • Sea salt to taste

Directions

  • Cook the turkey sausage and garlic in a large skillet until browned. Add corn, asparagus, basil and roses and until mixed together ( 5mins), top with truffle oil and gently fold in the rice. Season, to taste, with salt and top with a few more fresh roses

Kiss Me Now - Chocolate-Dipped Mint Leaves

Ingredients

  • 1 oz milk chocolate, 70% cocoa, broken into small pieces
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil
  • 10 large fresh mint leaves

Instructions

  • Melt the chocolate and coconut oil in a small bowl in the microwave, in 30-second intervals, stirring after each microwave session.
  • Using a pastry brush, brush the mint leaves with the melted chocolate on both sides.
  • Place the chocolate mint leaves on wax paper and place sheet into the freezer for 30 minutes till chocolate is firm and chilled, up to 5 hours.

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 cups gin
  • 1 cup fresh lime juice
  • Club soda
