Toys for Tots finds new home in Gaithersburg
MONTGOMERY CO. (WJLA) —
Early Monday afternoon, Toys for Tots Director, Paul Gunther was given the keys to a warehouse in Gaithersburg, which will be the new home to Toys for Tots.
Opening the new warehouse will mean there will be Christmas for thousands of disadvantaged children in the county, something that was very much in doubt until Gunther called 7 On Your Side.
Gunther received a call from Robert Bissle and his partner Jonathan Neal from Metropolitan Moving and Storage, and they had a warehouse to donate.
Now Toys for Tots of Montgomery County has to get to work to fill the eight thousand square foot warehouse with toys. They are already behind on doing that and that's where they need your help.
The work collecting toys has now begun.
