      FROM STORMWATCH7's Steve Rudin:

A Wind Advisory is in effect from 3 am through 6 pm Saturday

      TONIGHT:
      Increasing Winds
      Lows: 14-20 degrees
Winds: Becoming Northwest 20-30 mph Plus

      SATURDAY:
      Partly Cloudy, Windy and Cold
      Highs: 22-27 degrees
      Feels Like Temperatures: near 0
Winds: Northwest 20-30 mph with gusts over 40 mph

      SUNDAY:
      Mostly Sunny, Not as Windy
      Highs: 22-27 degrees
Feels Like Temperatures: near 15 degrees
      Winds: Northwest 5-10 mph

An arctic cold front will track away from the D.C. area overnight as cold air filters in from the northwest. Gusty winds will develop and continue through most of Saturday with potential gusts as high as 50 miles per hour. Temperatures will drop to between 14 to 20 degrees by sunrise with wind chills around zero to slightly above. High Saturday will be in the 20s with feels like temperatures in the single digits.

Skies will be mostly sunny on Sunday with lighter winds. It will remain extremely cold with highs only in the lower to middle 20s. Clouds will rapidly increase Sunday night and light snow may begin Monday morning. Light snow may accumulate a few inches as a new storm system develops. Note the following: many computer models diverge on what happens after Monday morning. Will the snow remain snow or change to freezing rain? Both outcomes are possible. There is some agreement on the idea that eventually enough warm air will be drawn into the region to turn the precipitation to plain rain as temperatures rise above freezing. We are not certain if that will occur Monday evening or Monday night. We have increasing confidence it will become much warmer Tuesday with continuing rain that could be heavy at times. And that could cause its own set of problems.
