Grab the umbrella heading out the door! Wet weather is expected today through Wednesday with sunshine finally returning by Thursday. A front to our south will gradually lift north through Tuesday providing a chance for rain. The first half of today will be cloudy with areas of drizzle, but expect scattered showers to develop from south to north by this afternoon and evening. Periods of rain continues tonight through much of the day Tuesday. A cold front will slide through Wednesday providing additional chances for showers. All the rain will end by Wednesday night with between 1.5-2.5 inches of cumulative rain possible. Sunshine returns Thursday just in time for the National Christmas Tree Lightning. High pressure brings dry and seasonable weather through next weekend.
